Unique production process
Once the fruits have been pitted, de-stemmed and mashed, the fermentation process takes about 18 days. That's when the mash is ready for distilling. The double distillation process produces a fruity, unmistakably aromatic distillate, which is stored for several years in fine-pored stoneware. There, it can develop under optimal conditions before it goes into a wooden barrel for a flavourful finish. We then refine the schnapps with natural fruit extracts – the final flourish before tasting.

Old Apricot has a beautiful golden-yellow hue due to maturing in a wooden barrel. This apricot speciality provides a truly aromatic experience that is intensely fruity with slightly flowery notes in the nose. On the palate, the characteristically full-bodied tones unfold with a subtle sweetness and a wood barrel note. The mild yet wonderfully fruity taste flourishes in the finish.
